Tashira Boughton is missing from Los Angeles, California and her mother believes that it was her that was heard screaming on the Ring doorbell video.
Tashira’s mother Yolanda Halliman released a video where she says that her daughter has been missing for six days and was last seen in Whittier, Calif. Yolanda says she believes that the video (See video link above) taken by a Ring door camera last week of a possible abduction and went viral on social media is her daughter. In the video you can year a woman screaming in the distance and see a white car driving off with her.
The incident happened in an area called Leimert Park on Obama Blvd. and Third Avenue with a time stamp of 11:11 p..m. last Tuesday.
Although I have been waiting for an update on this case, and assuming it may take a bit, because all he police had to go on was the car was a possible white Prius; by Friday, I heard nothing.
Yolanda says in her video that she posted on Facebook that she went to Third Avenue and passed out flyers and talked to a lot of people that lived on that street where it happened, and even spoke with the couple that captured the event on their Ring camera. Yolanda stated they were very concerned and supportive and also bewildered that the police had not found out what happened yet.
“They poured their heart out to me,” said Yolanda.
Yolanda talked more about her daughter and what she believes happened. She said she believes Tashira had no where to run and there was possible two men, “They had her cornered in,” said Yolanda.
Yolanda also stated she believed that the report of a woman in braids could actually have been a man with dreads.
She believes this because she thinks her daughter was not in the front seat, but was actually in the trunk of the car, and the trunk was open and that is why the screaming was so clear,
“But I don’t want to elaborate on the negative thing,” said Yolanda.
Early Saturday morning, Yolanda posed on her Facebook page:
“And the system still don’t believe me. I AM HER MOTHER. HER NAME IS Tashira Boughton. WHY DOES A MOTHER HAVE TO SUFFER? EACH DAY THE SYSTEM HAS STILL NOT REACHED OUT. HOW CAN THE NEWS KEEP ASKING FOR AN UPDATE WHEN I CALLED AND EMAIL THE NEWS. I FEEL LIKE THEY NOT LOOKING FOR HER IDENTITY. THEY ENJOY THE FACT OF USING THE DOORBELL VIDEO FOR THEIR PUBLIC GAIN. HERE IS A WITNESS THAT VERIFY THAT IS MY DAUGHTER.”
Yolanda states that she will have to go to Fresno to make a missing report because that was where her daughter lived and she hopes that the police don’t direct her somewhere else.
“I don’t want no other individual to have to go through this,” said Yolanda.
Yolanda believes that someone knows something and knows the license plate of the car.
In the meantimes, we can share on social media and hope to bring attention to this case.
I will post an update on his story as it comes in.
